Stainless Steel Technology
ZCP has embarked on a project of converting as much as possible our current products (we are limited to 1 ¼" pipe size at this time) from copper piping to stainless steel piping. This involves replacing all the copper piping with stainless steel pipe and replacing the sweat joints with brass coupling over our unique stainless steel flanges that we produce in-house. There are several advantages to this migration away from copper to stainless steel.

• Most hydronic panel manufacturer's soldering copper pipe and fittings experience a very small percentage of panel leaks as a result of vibration during transport, impurities in the copper fittings or simply poor soldered joints. Copper sweat joints are inherently weak even after extensive quality control procedures are followed and pressure testing methods are complied with at the factory. Flanged Stainless Steel Piping with brass couplings provide a virtual leak free product in the field. They can literally be hand tightened should a slight leak occur during installation.
• Manufacturing and Labor economies allow us to make Stainless Steel panels at a lower cost than copper sweat panels
• Our manufacturing techniques and quality control methods, combine to make a unique product offering which contractors literally can not make themselves.
• We are dedicated to making panels which our customers need and want. The stainless steel product makes us much more flexible in our manufacturing techniques and allows us to custom design stainless steel panels to-suit large volume orders for projects.
